About

Dr. Timothy A. Masterson specializes in Urology for IU Health Physicians Urology. Dr. Masterson earned his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine. He then completed an internship and residency at the University of Utah Health Sciences and a fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

He is currently working on several collaborative efforts with researchers at the Purdue Cancer Research Center. These include exploration of novel tumor markers, molecular imaging for screening and staging prostate cancer, and novel compounds for nerve regeneration. Clinically, He participates in several clinical trials throughout the department and with medical oncology. Additionally, he is involved in and has published recently in clinicaopathologic outcomes in prostate, testis, bladder and renal cancers.
