Dr. Neghae Mawla graduated from medical school at the University of TX at Houston Medical School. He completed his internal medicine residency at St. Louis University and his fellowship in interventional nephrology at St. Louis University. He is board certified in internal medicine and in nephrology. He is the Medical Director at DNA Vascular Center in Plano.
He is a member of the following organizations: American Medical Association, Dallas County Medical Society, Renal Physicians Association, Texas Medical Association, American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology, and the Vascular Access Society of the Americas.

Arteriovenous fistulas and grafts are dialysis access sites that can thrombose.
