About Dr. Omar Davis
Dr. Omar Davis, M.D. is a well-known and highly respected Interventional Nephrologist and Board-Certified Nephrologist with over 15 years of endovascular experience. He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and completed his residency there as well. He completed a year of fellowship in Nephrology and received additional medical training to become well-versed in vascular care.
In 2007, he and his partner, Dr. Natarsha Grant, established the first outpatient vascular access lab in Memphis to provide needed vascular access care to the regional End Stage Kidney Disease patients. Dr. Davis specializes in Dialysis access care as well as the diagnosis, treatment of Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD)and amputation prevention and is a leader in diversity and inclusion in vascular care. He focuses on relationships with his patients through compassionate and individualized care. Dr. Davis's mission is to provide his patients with state-of-the-art technology, comprehensive patient education, and his gifted team of healthcare professionals. Dr. Davis has performed more than 18,000 vascular procedures over the past 15 years.
. In his free time, Dr. Davis enjoys staying active, and spending time with his three children and his wife, Shawnelle. He values encouraging his patients to live a healthy and active lifestyle, similar to the way he lives his.
