About
Shang-Chuin Loh, MD, is a vascular surgeon at Penn Medicine and Chief of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He specializes in the treatment of complex vascular disease, with particular expertise in aortic conditions such as aneurysms and dissections. His clinical approach focuses on tailoring treatment to each patient, using the least invasive techniques possible—including advanced endovascular procedures and stent graft technologies—while ensuring durable, long-term results.
Dr. Loh earned his medical degree from Texas A&M University College of Medicine and completed both his residency and fellowship training at NYU Langone Medical Center. He is also a Professor of Clinical Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to his clinical work, he is actively involved in advancing vascular surgery through research and innovation in endovascular therapies, helping expand treatment options for patients with complex aortic disease.
