Dr. Chris Chiu is a primary care physician and lead physician of the General Internal Medicine Clinic at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where he provides comprehensive care for a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor, Dr. Chiu is committed to improving patient health through personalized, collaborative care while empowering patients with the knowledge they need to make informed healthcare decisions. He has a particular interest in advancing medical literacy and helping patients better understand and manage chronic disease.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Chiu serves as Director of Education for the Division of General Internal Medicine and Director of Digital Scholarship at Ohio State. He is actively involved in medical education, digital health communication, and innovative approaches to scholarly work, including the development of educational podcasts such as The Cribsiders. Dr. Chiu has received multiple teaching awards in recognition of his contributions to resident and medical student education and continues to advance the use of digital media to improve medical education and scientific communication.
