Dr. Ganatra is an Internist practicing inpatient and outpatient general medicine at the VA Boston Healthcare System, where he serves as the Director of Continuing Medical Education and Grand Rounds Course Director for the Medical Service. He earned his M.D./M.P.H. from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago, IL, and completed his residency training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. Dr. Ganatra was awarded a CDC Experience Fellowship in Applied Epidemiology, where his work included domestic influenza surveillance and outbreak investigation. His professional interests include medical education, comparative physiology, health equity, and teaching critical appraisal. He is an Associate Editor and the critical appraisal correspondent for The Curbsiders: An Internal Medicine Podcast.
