About

Dr. Satyan B. Sreenath, MD, joined the faculty at the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery in 2021. He received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth School of Medicine, and then completed his otolaryngology (ENT) residency training at the University of North Carolina in 2020. Following residency, Dr. Sreenath then completed a subspecialty fellowship in Advanced Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.

His primary area of clinical focus is in the medical and surgical management for a wide array of diseases affecting the nasal airway, paranasal sinuses, and anterior skull base. Through collaborative efforts with colleagues in the Departments of Ophthalmology and Neurosurgery, he is able to treat diseases of the orbit and anterior skull base through minimally invasive, endoscopic techniques.

Dr. Sreenath has a strong passion for surgical education and resident teaching. He is an active member of the Residents and Fellows Committee and the Skull Base and Orbital Surgery Section in the American Rhinologic Society. Additionally, Dr. Sreenath has published in multiple otolaryngology journals and has given presentations at several national and international meetings.

In his free time, Dr. Sreenath enjoys hiking, playing tennis, and spending time with his wife, their son, and their dog, Mowgli.
