About

Yan Epelboym, MD, MPH, is an interventional radiologist at Mass General Brigham and Brigham and Women’s Hospital who specializes in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. His clinical interests include embolization therapies for conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia and knee osteoarthritis, as well as other catheter-based treatments that offer patients effective alternatives to traditional surgery. His work focuses on expanding access to innovative, less invasive options that can shorten recovery time and improve quality of life.

Dr. Epelboym completed his medical training at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and went on to complete residency and fellowship training in radiology and interventional radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He now serves as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School, where he contributes to research and education in the field of interventional radiology while helping advance the role of image-guided therapies in modern patient care.
