About

Venkatesh (Kavi) Krishnasamy is the Director of Interventional Oncology and Interventional Research at the University of Alabama Birmingham. His clinical focus is primarily the full gamut of Interventional Oncology and MSK/pain interventions. In particular, he specializes in complex percutaneous ablation and transarterial therapies with adjunctive techniques. His academic interests include device/software development, translational research, and multidisciplinary oncology trials. He additionally focuses on therapeutic guideline and algorithm development.
