About
Dr. Amanda Nizam is a genitourinary medical oncologist and Associate Staff in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at The Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute, where she specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with bladder/upper urinary tract, renal, and prostate cancers.
Dr. Nizam's research interests include treatment-related toxicity in patients receiving novel therapeutics for genitourinary cancers and the development of clinical trials for bladder/urinary tract cancers. Her long-term goal is to become a clinical investigator specialized in the development of clinical trials for bladder/urinary tract malignancies and in the risk identification and mitigation of treatment-related toxicity.
In addition to her clinical and research interests, Dr. Nizam is engaged in national legislative advocacy efforts aimed at advancing biomedical research and improving oncologic care in the U.S.
