About
Sarah L. (Cohen) Rassier, M.D., M.P.H., is a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon and Director of the Fibroid Clinic at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Her clinical focus includes coordinating care for women with uterine fibroids, including access to all available medical, radiologic or surgical treatments, surgical treatments, with a focus on minimally invasive approaches to myomectomy, hysterectomy or fibroid ablation, and expertise in management of gynecologic conditions that can cause abnormal bleeding or pelvic pain.
In addition to her clinical activities, Dr. Rassier is active in clinical research, with a particular interest in research on hysterectomy outcomes, tissue extraction techniques and disparities in surgical treatments within women's health. Dr. Rassier is also passionate about medical education and serves as a mentor for medical students, residents and fellows.
