About
Dr. Martin Radvany, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained diagnostic and interventional radiologist with subspecialty training in both interventional radiology and neurointerventional surgical radiology. He earned his medical degree from Northwestern University’s Medical School.
Dr. Radvany then completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Tripler Army Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He then served for nine years at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, where he was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and served as Chief of the Interventional Radiology Service.
Dr. Radvany returned to Johns Hopkins in 2007 for a fellowship in Neurointerventional Surgical Radiology and then joined the faculty as Assistant Professor of Radiology, Neurological Surgery and Neurology. He served as Chief of Interventional Neuroradiology at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and Director of the Neurointerventional Surgical Radiology Fellowship in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Throughout his career, Dr. Radvany has held various leadership positions and served on several committees in professional organizations such as the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) and American College of Radiology (ACR), American Board of Radiology (ABR), Southeastern Neuroradiology Society (SENRS) and International Pediatric Stroke Organization (IPSO), of which he is a founding member. He is also an accomplished author, reviewer and speaker.
