Dr. Bob Tahara MD FSVS FACS DFOEIS RVT RPVI is Director of Allegheny Vein & Vascular in Bradford, PA. , Attending Vascular Surgeon at Meadville Medical Center in Meadville PA., and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Surgery with the Department of Surgery/Division of Vascular Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Tahara is an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, American Venous Forum, American Venous and Lymphatic Society, Outpatient Endovascular and Interventional Society, and is the Technical Director of the OEIS National Registry
He graduated with Honors from the SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine and subsequently served in the US Navy where he completed US Navy Dive School and served as Diving Medical Officer supporting US Naval Special Operations in the Pacific. His surgical training was at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE, during he was inducted into the AOA Medical Honor Society.
