Dr. Tamir Wolf is the CEO and Co-Founder of theator. Theator is a company built for surgeons by surgeons. Theator's Surgical Intelligence platform combines highly sophisticated technology with a deep understanding of the challenges facing today’s surgeons to offer a solution carefully crafted around surgeons’ needs. As experts in both surgery and computer-vision technology, theator is partnering with visionary surgeons and hospitals to help create a more transparent OR, while empowering surgeons to raise their expertise to the highest possible level. After numerous impressive accomplishments Dr. Wolf decided to create thetor because 5 billion people worldwide lack access to safe surgical care. He refused to accept variability and disparity as the status quo. Prior to starting theator, Dr. Wolf received his MD and PhD from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. He continued his education even further by attending Harvard business school in 2010 to become a venture capitalist. Dr. Wolf even served in Shayetet-13 (“Unit 13”), which is the Israel equivalent to Navy SEALs.
