About

William Julien, MD, is a board-certified vascular interventional physician and the practice president at South Florida Vascular Associates. Dr. Julien offers a wide range of procedures including advanced approaches to treat conditions like abdominal aortic aneurysm, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), uterine fibroids, and varicose veins.
Dr. Julien earned his medical degree at the Washington University School of Medicine (WashU Med) in St. Louis, Missouri, and then completed his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis. He also completed fellowship training in interventional radiology through the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute in Kendall, Florida.
Dr. Julien is board-certified through the American Board of Radiology (ABR) with additional qualifications in interventional radiology. He’s a member of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and the Council on Cardiovascular Radiology for the American Heart Association (CVRI). He also serves on the Practice Affairs Committee of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR).

Dr. Julien is a staff member at the Northwest Medical Center in Margate, Florida. He was previously the director of interventional radiology at another radiology practice and served as the chief of interventional radiology at a three-hospital system in South Florida.
