Dr. Peder Horner, MD, is a distinguished interventional radiologist. He has strong clinical interests in interventional oncology (including Yttrium 90 radioembolization and tumor ablation), complex hepatobiliary interventions, prostatic artery embolization (PAE) for men with benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH); uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), acute and chronic DVT management, kyphoplasty for vertebral compression fractures, and peripheral vascular disease. He is also part of a select multi-disciplinary group of specialized physicians at the Institute for Limb Preservation at P/SL, treating osteosarcoma with their unique intra-arterial chemotherapy protocol.
Dr. Horner has consistently been voted as one of Denver's Top Doctors in 5280 Magazine by his peers. He currently resides in Denver, Colorado. An avid cyclist, he races competitively year-round, including road, mountain bike, and cyclocross disciplines in Colorado and nationally. He can also readily be found skiing, hiking, and camping with his wife and two school-age children.
