About
Professor Warren Clements is a Medical Specialist at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. Warren's work is entirely in the public hospital system as a full-time staff specialist Interventional Radiologist. Warren also holds the position of Adjunct Professor with Monash University through the Department of Surgery and is heavily involved in research as well as teaching of medical students and junior doctors. Warren has published over 110 scientific manuscripts in internationally recognised medical journals.
Warren is accredited with the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR-ES). He is an active member of the Interventional Radiology Society of Australasia, the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe, and the Society of Interventional Radiology.
Warren holds positions within the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists including within the Interventional Radiology Committee.
Warren is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology, and is an editorial board member of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology (CVIR) as well as CVIR Endovascular. He also reviews for multiple local and international journals including JVIR, circulation, JAMA, BJR, DIR, injury, and many others.
Warren has a keen interest in education and training, and is the supervisor of Intern Training in the Alfred Radiology Department. He also supervises research students in the Monash University MD program and The University of Melbourne Master of Medicine (Radiology) program.
Warren's areas of interest include uterine artery embolisation, tumour ablation, trauma intervention, and management of inferior vena cava filters.
