About
Dr. Alana Desai, MD is a distinguished board-certified urologic surgeon. She received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2002, and completed her residency and fellowship in Endourology and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Washington University. She joined the faculty at Washington University in St. Louis in 2009, and is currently an Associate Professor in the Division of Urology.
Dr. Desai has special expertise in the medical and surgical treatment of kidney stone disease. Washington University in St. Louis is one of six institutions in the Urinary Stone Disease Research Network (USDRN) funded by the National Institutes of Health and National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases.
