About

Andrea Necchi, MD, is an Associate Professor of Oncology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, Italy, and Director of Genitourinary Medical Oncology at IRCCS San Raffaele and Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy. Prof. Necchi completed his MD and his post-doctoral specialization at the University of Milan, Milan, Italy.


He has previously worked at the Fondazione IRCCS Instituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan, Italy. He is a board member of the EAU Research Foundation and an associate member of the ASCO-EAU penile cancer guidelines panel.


Prof. Necchi is a lead researcher in urological cancer therapies. He serves as a principal investigator multiple academic Phase I and II trials of urological cancer treatments. Recently, he has been involved in the development of perioperative strategies aimed at combining novel therapies with radical surgery in early-stage, operable disease.
