About Dr. Edward Dodson
Dr. Edward Dodson, MD, is an otolaryngologist and Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at Ohio State University. He received his medical degree from University of Virginia School of Medicine. He then completed his residency and fellowship in otolaryngology at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
Dr. Dodson specializes in otology or neurotology, and skull base surgery. His specialty includes the medical and surgical treatment of the ear for hearing loss, infections and inner ear balance disorders. Dr. Dodson is very passionate about this area of expertise because a person’s hearing is an integral part of their well-being and disorders of the ear often result in social isolation and even discrimination.
Dr. Dodson is dedicated to helping the underserved population of the Dominican Republic. Project EAR is a humanitarian organization which has focused on medically assisting many people who are financially unable to access hearing healthcare. Dr. Dodson has served as President of this organization that has been providing care since 1995.
