About
Dr. Dharam Kaushik completed his urology surgical residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska and a Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO) accredited fellowship in urologic oncology with leaders in cancer surgery at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Kaushik has expertise in surgical management of advanced renal cell carcinoma, including with complex tumor thrombus cases, retroperitoneal lymph node dissection for testicular cancer, bladder cancer, radical cystectomy, orthotopic neobladder reconstruction, robotic and open complex partial nephrectomy, penile and urethral cancer, inguinal lymph node dissection, robotic prostatectomy and salvage prostatectomy for post radiation failure in prostate cancer. Dr. Kaushik’s primary research interests include kidney cancer, detection of novel biomarkers, newer therapeutic targets, and studying mechanism of drug resistance in kidney cancer.
